USPS Delivers to Every Door

For full service, we drop off at the destination Post Office that serves your selected carrier routes (not just any local Post Office — EDDM Retail requires drop at the destination unit). For print-only, we ship directly to you with PS Form 3587 and facing slips included. USPS then delivers to every address in your chosen routes.

Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) is a USPS service that lets you mail to every address in a carrier route without needing individual names or addresses. You choose the zip codes or routes you want to target, and USPS delivers to every residential or business address in that area. No mailing list required.
Yes — professional postcard design is included with every order. After you place your order, our design team will create a custom postcard based on your business information and the details you provide at checkout. You'll receive a proof to review and approve before anything goes to print. Revisions are included.
Print Only means we design and print your postcards, then ship them to your address along with a pre-filled PS Form 3587 (the EDDM Retail mailing statement) and facing slips for each bundle. You drop the bundles at the destination Post Office that serves your selected carrier routes and pay USPS the per-piece postage there. Full Service means we handle that drop-off for you — we deliver the bundled postcards plus the PS Form 3587 and facing slips to the destination Post Office, and USPS delivers them to every door in your target routes. Full service adds $0.247 per piece for USPS postage (the current EDDM Retail rate).
Our standard turnaround is 3–5 business days from the time you approve your design proof. USPS typically delivers EDDM mail within 1–3 business days after we drop off at the post office. Total time from order to mail reaching doors is typically 5–10 business days.
No. EDDM Retail does not require a mailing permit. We prepare your postcards per USPS requirements and include all necessary facing slips. If you choose full service, we handle the entire drop-off process.
USPS requires every EDDM Retail mailing to ship with two paperwork items. Facing slips are small route-identification slips taped to the top of each bundle (50–100 pieces per bundle, no taller than 6") that tell the postal clerk which carrier route the bundle is for and how many pieces it contains. PS Form 3587 is the EDDM Retail Mailing Statement — a single form summarizing the entire mailing, with the carrier route list filled out on the back. We pre-fill both for every order. Full Service customers never touch them; Print Only customers receive them in the box with their postcards so they can hand them to the clerk at the destination Post Office.
EDDM Retail uses USPS Marketing Mail Flats — pieces that exceed at least one of: 10.5" length, 6.125" height, or 0.25" thickness. Standard 4" × 6" postcards are letters under USPS rules and don't qualify. The smallest EDDM-eligible postcard size we offer is 6.25" × 9". All three sizes on our pricing table — 6.25" × 9", 6.5" × 9", and 8.5" × 11" — are EDDM-compliant flats. Maximum dimensions are 15" × 12" × 0.75", and weight cannot exceed 3.3 oz.
Yes. EDDM Retail caps each mailer at 5,000 pieces per ZIP code per day. If your order targets more than 5,000 pieces into a single ZIP, we'll either split the drop across multiple business days or recommend adding adjacent carrier routes from a neighboring ZIP. For larger same-day mailings to a single ZIP, EDDM-BMEU is the right path — that's a permitted track and isn't covered by this site.
